Victor Tretiak

Victor Tretiak is a Russian photographer who began his career in the year 2004.
He has done many projects such as Nevermind, Searching for the Whale, The Worst and The Best,
but the one that is of interest right now is 48, for which he travelled many areas in Thailand for a duration of two years.

When asked about his project, he explains, “The idea was to create a photo that doesn’t stop moving. When you look around, your sight barely stops at anything for longer than half a second unless you are stoned or in love, each little photo is your half a second.”

Tretiak sometimes waited hours just to get the right lighting, creating beautiful grid-like photographs such as the ones below.
